Therapeutic exercise is a range of physical activities, or exercises, to one or more areas of the body. The goal of therapeutic exercise is to return you to pain-free, full function. Therapeutic exercise may include strengthening exercises, endurance exercises, flexibility exercises and balance and coordination exercises.

The overall goal and benefit of therapeutic exercise is a return to pain-free, full function. Therapeutic exercise can prevent or remedy body function impairments, increase strength and endurance, increase range of motion and flexibility.
